HOGAN’S Athletic’s goal statistics from their first 10 games in Division Two are four for and 128 against.
They are still searching for their first point of the season, which was never a possibility as they went down 15-0 at Horwich Town on Sunday.
The Leigh lads are considered a credit to themselves and the league with their attitude of just wanting to play the game.
With Breightmet losing 6-2 at home to leaders Queen Lizzy, Horwich moved up to third following five goals from Shaun Jones, four from Stuart Griffiths, a hat-trick from Wayne Fielder, two from Pete Fisher and one from Ant Griffiths.
Aaron McArther struck five as Queen Lizzie maintained their 100 per cent record, with Tom Manning scoring the other and Chris Donaghue getting both goals for Breightmet.
FC Newbury and Flying Shuttle shared the points in a 2-2 draw. Chris Ryan and Alex Archer were on target for Newbury, and Kieron Marsh and Martin Harrop scored for the Shuttle.
In the Premier Division, Jordan Gower scored a hat-trick and Ryan Bowcock got the other in Bolton Sports’ 4-3 victory over Cattlemarket Wanderers. Shaun Rothwell and Gaz Gemill were on target for the Wanderers.
In Division One, Brindley Arms went down 3-1 at home to Newbury, Aaron Sharples scoring two and Josh Richardson one for the winners.
Morris Dancers and Farnworth United fought out a 1-1 draw in which Aaron Greer scored for Dancers and Gary French for United.
