QUEEN Anne, Great Lever and Deane won through to the semi-finals of the Bolton At Home Sunday League Champions League end-of-season knockout competition.

Danny Dare scored twice for Queen Anne in their 8-3 quarter-final victory over Queen Lizzy.

Mark Truffas, Martin Brown, Macauley Stephens, Lee Morley, Stu Schofield and Michael Rice got the others for the winners.

Great Lever had a much more tense passage to the last four, beating Brindley 8-7 on penalties after drawing 3-3 in normal time.

Deane went through with a 4-2 victory over Hulton Wanderers who had reached the last eight in midweek with a 4-2 win at Farnworth United.

Pat Furry got a hat-trick in that game with Chris Hutchinson scoring Hulton’s other goal, while Joe Cappy and Martin Finely were the scorers for Farnworth.

The other semi-final spot will be taken by D Havilland or Astley Bridge Elite who meet on Thursday.

D Havilland earned their place in the quarter-finals with a resounding midweek 8-1 win at Great Lever in which John Harvey hit a hat-trick, Kieron Marsh and Scott Hughes scored two apiece and Jake Wild got the other with Callum Ashbury replying for Great Lever.
