BOLTON Sunday League prides itself on its community spirit - and there are not many more community-minded teams than Moses Gate FC.
Moses Gate, who play in Division One, are the league's only Asian side and they set up a team this season to give local youths something to play for.
"We have a lot of lads from the Moses Gate area who were getting into the wrong sort of things and we just decided to set up a football team for them," said team manager Ajaz Khan.

"We will be setting up a cricket team in the summer to play in the Bolton Metro League, and we have got a great set of lads.
"We are right up there in the league and we are also doing well in the cup competitions.
"We have had no problems with being the only Asian team, and there is not a hint of unhappiness.
"We don't see ourselves as any different because we are an Asian team. We just want to play football and help the younger lads in our community."
Dont make it exclusively Asian. Its not just Asian kids who want to play.
That said, Asian, black, white, yellow, pink or purple, its sport and sports should have no ethnic boundary.
