RMI desperately seek a win

LEIGH need victory on Saturday if they are to have any realistic chance of avoiding the drop, when they face fellow-strugglers Hinckley.

They have to put behind them the disappointment of the 4-0 defeat by Southport in the Co-Operative Challenge Trophy semi-final.

Hinckley go in to the game on the back of two 3-0 defeats to promotion chasers AFC Telford United and Stalybridge Celtic.

Despite their poor recent form, Hinckley remain within touching distance of safety, with just three points separating them from fourth bottom Hucknall Town.

With centre-back Rob Marsh-Evans serving the last of a two-match suspension, loan signing Matt Lawlor will continue to deputise alongside Luke Prosser in defence.
