THE leading contenders for the Division One title marched on with big wins in the only two matches to beat the freeze.
Table-toppers Farnworth United saw their first action in more than a month, but showed no signs of ring rust after putting nine goals past past bottom side Mosesgate.
Arron Monks led the charge with four goals, while Gaz Bentley hit a brace and Gaz French, Ant Harrison and Sean Forshaw managed one apiece in the 9-1 victory, with Ged Edge scoring a consolation for the visitors.
That put Farnworth on 30 points from 12 games, but third-placed Queen Anne are just six points behind with three games in hand.
They put seven past Queen Lizzy with no reply – Gaz Cunniff firing in a hat-trick, while Michael Rice scored twice and Kris Power and Mark Truffas shared the other two.
