RADCLIFFE Borough got back to winning ways on Saturday with a 2-1 triumph at relegation-threatened Ossett Albion.

James Mullineux opened the scoring for Boro just before the half-hour mark in Yorkshire.

But the Evo-Stik Division One North strugglers were level five minutes into the second period through Anthony Bowsley.

But the scores did not stay level for long as, just three minutes later, Jake Pollard netted what proved to be the winner for Kevin Glendon’s men.

Elsewhere, Ramsbottom United also won on the road to regain their place in the league’s play-off spots. The Rams registered a 3-0 victory at Warrington Town.

Jon Robinson netted the first on 33 minutes as United led at the break.

Two goals inside six second-half minutes sealed the points with Lee Gaskell prodding home on 58 minutes and Mark Ayres adding a third.

The Rams now sit fifth ahead of New Mills on goal difference.

Both Boro and Rammy are back on home turf tomorrow night, Clitheroe travelling to Radcliffe and Salford City the visitors to the Harry Williams Riverside Stadium.
