Coventry defender William Edjenguélé confirmed as Bury's latest signing
BURY have confirmed the signing of Coventry City defender William Edjenguélé on a 12-month deal.
The 26-year-old French centre-half was an instant hit during his one and only season at the Ricoh Arena.
But the struggling League One side, who are in administration and are facing the threat of liquidation, today agreed to terminate his contract.
That has allowed Edjenguélé to link up with former Sky Blues team-mate Nathan Cameron in the heart of the Bury defence.
“The fact he has played alongside Nathan at Coventry is an obvious benefit to us and will hopefully enable him to gel into the squad much quicker,” said Shakers boss Kevin Blackwell.
