Cheltenham Town get the second half under way...
Bury 3 Cheltenham Town 1
First half summary
3 – GOAL – Bury 0 Cheltenham Town 1 - Andy Procter fails to deal with a Russell Penn shot, turning it into his own net from just a few yards out as he attempted to clear it. The chance was created by a strong run from Jermaine McGlashan caught Bury cold, with the winger taking the ball past Gareth Roberts and finding Penn with a pull-back.
9 – GOAL – BURY 1 Cheltenham Town 1 – Danny Mayor pulls the trigger with his left foot from the edge of the box and rifles it into the corner. The goal was heralded with a ring of boos from the away end after Cheltenham left-back went down injured in the build up. Tommy Miller asked referee Scott Duncan if he should put the ball out but he said “no, play on”.
10 – SUB – Jombarti on for Barham-Barrett
11 – GOAL – BURY 2 Cheltenham 1 – Andy Procter makes up for his inexplicable own goal by putting Bury in front with a towering header at the back post from a Craig Jones corner.
17 – GOAL – BURY 3 Cheltenham 1 – Nathan Cameron does a jig of delight in the corner after showing great skill to turn a low Craig Jones cross home with a deft touch at the near post.
19 – YELLOW - Trevor Carson gets away with a booking after the Bury keeper collided with striker Terry Gornell on the edge of the box. He won what looked like a 50/50 challenge but when referee Scott Duncan blew for a foul he could easily have shown him a straight red as last man.
24 – Great run and shot from Marlon Jackson. Bury played the ball out from the back before finding Jackson on the half-way line. He rode a number of challenges before releasing a low strike from 30 yards that Scott Brown did well to gather at his near post.
25 – Big delay in the game as physios from both sides treat Cheltenham defender Steve Elliott after he came off worse in a challenge with Marlon Jackson.
28 – SUB – Harrison on for Elliott.
38 – Danny Mayor sends in an inviting low cross from the left, which Jackson just fails to connect with.
39 – Craig Jones then creates havoc with a cross from the right that Cheltenham only manage to clear after a goalmouth scramble.
45 – Brilliant run from Danny Mayor before releasing Anton Forrester, who flashed a shot across goal.
