ROTHERHAM striker Daniel Nardiello has agreed to extend his loan deal at Bury until the end of the season, the club has confirmed.

The 31-year-old former Manchester United striker was due to return to the New York Stadium this week after scoring five goals in nine appearances for the Shakers.

But he will now be available for Saturday’s trip to League Two title challengers Chesterfield.

“As many of the fans had hoped, Daniel Nardiello has now signed until the end of season,” a club statement revealed.

“Since arriving on loan from Rotherham on 15 November, Danny has played a large part in turning around the Shakers fortunes and is an integral part of David Flitcroft’s plans for the remainder of the season.”
