Wilson slid straight through the back of the Bury captain near the touchline, just in front of the dug-out, and the referee, Kevin Wright, wasted no time in getting his card out.

8:17pm

Team news

Bury manager David Flitcroft has made two changes to the team that drew with Oxford United way back on February 4.

Danny Mayor returns from suspension to replace Chris Sedgwick on the left of midfield, while Daniel Nardiello comes in for Ashley Grimes, who is missing from the matchday squad.

Tope Obadeyi takes a place on the bench, which is otherwise unchanged.

The original Accrington match, at the end of the January, was the first of a run of five of the last seven Bury fixtures to be postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

While that should see the Shakers come into this one with fresh legs, they are lacking match practice.

Flitcroft is also wary of the challenge ahead.

After managing just five games since the turn of the year, Bury must now fit in 17 in the final two-and-a-half months of the season.

Am I being negative, but if you can't beat 10 men accrington after 3 weeks rest maybe we should just bow out gracefully?

pdgreenwood,
"Maybe we should just bow out gracefully".

Think you should sod of and become a Rochdale fan with comments like that. Disgraceful!

We did everything but score in a one-sided contest. We are playing pretty good stuff and are now a hard team to beat. As easylife said, we're 1 defeat in 9 now, so to say what you've said is unbelievable.
As frustrating as it was, just look at how the team's playing.....and that's good. We just didn't have that bit of luck in front of goal last night, on another day we'd have won comfortably.
Jeez, some people!!!!

Just to add to the comments above, this team is almost 100% flickers team and it bloody well shows. The goals and results will come and there are plenty of games to go.
This group is determined, well organized, tough to break down and look at our goal diff -3!!! As we climb the table, that will come into play as we pass teams on the same points with our superior defensive number.

Don't worry lads and lassies, Boss and team have this under control.
