BURY defender Pablo Mills has been nominated for the Sky Bet League Two player of the month award for April.
The 29-year-old centre-back is up against midfielders Danny Hollands, from Portsmouth, and Josh Morris, from Fleetwood Town, as well as York City goalkeeper Nick Pope.
The Shakers picked up 11 points from a possible 18 in April, with Mills helping his side to keep two clean sheets.
“The veteran centre-back has been pivotal to Bury’s fine end-of-season form - strong in the tackle and quick to snuff out danger,” read his nomination.
“He marshalled the defence superbly and gave his side a solid platform from which to attack.”
The winner will be announced tomorrow.
