BURY look set to at least match the 2,500-strong army of supporters they took to Wanderers the last time the derby rivals locked horns 12 years ago.
The Shakers have sold their full allocation of tickets for their Capital One Cup first round tie at the Macron tomorrow night.
And with tickets also available to buy at the ground before the match, it looks like the League Two side will take a bumper following.
Bury’s fans would settle for a repeat of their last derby battle, when the Division Three “minnows” knocked out their then Premier League neighbours in the second round of the same competition.
Bernard Mendy put through his own net to hand the Shakers a famous 1-0 win.
