A MAN today admitted killing six people during a hour-long shooting

spree last October.

Malcolm Baker, 45, admitted in Newcastle Supreme Court killing six

people and attempting to murder another.

Baker shot dead his girlfriend Kerry Gannan, 23, her father and sister

at the Gannan home in Terrigal, 40 miles north of Sydney. He also

attempted to murder Gannan's new boyfriend.

Baker then murdered his son David, 27, at nearby Bateau Bay, and

killed two others at North Wyong. He will be sentenced later. -- Reuter.
