BURY have been drawn at home against Premier League opposition in the second round of the Capital One Cup.
The Shakers will play Leicester City at Gigg Lane in the week beginning Monday, August 24.
An exact date will be set once it is decided which ties will be televised.
David Flitcroft's side earned the plum draw after coming from behind to beat League One rivals Wigan in the opening round on Tuesday night.
The manager got his wish after saying he hoped to reward chairman Stewart Day with a Premier League side at Gigg Lane after guiding the Shakers to victory at the DW Stadium.
The tie also throws up the possibility of a return for former Bury fans' favourite David Nugent to the club where he started his career, although the Foxes striker is understood to be nearing a move to Middlesbrough.
Leicester, managed by former Chelsea boss Claudio Ranieri, are one of six Premier League clubs facing ties at lower league opposition, meaning the tie could be in the running to be televised by Sky.
Others are Everton at Barnsley and Bournemouth at Hartlepool, while Norwich will visit Rotherham, Stoke will go to Luton and Watford are at Preston.
Holders Chelsea do not enter until the third round, along with the seven other teams who qualified for European competition.
They are Manchester City, Arsenal, Manchester United, Tottenham, Liverpool, Southampton and West Ham.
