BURY FC had a winding up petition against them dismissed at London’s High Court today.
It was the second time this year the League One club has been forced to appear at court to answer a petition brought against them by HMRC.
As in February, when they previously appeared in court, the bill had already been paid by the time the ruling was made.
Inland Revenue counsel Caroline Addy told the court: “The debt has been paid in full.”
As a result Mr Registrar Stephen Baister agreed to dismiss the petition.
The amount of the tax debt was not disclosed.
