BURY have sold full-back Joe Riley to Shrewsbury Town for an undisclosed fee.
The 24-year-old, who signed on a free transfer from Bolton Wanderers 18 months ago, is the third player to be sold by the club this summer, following fellow defender Chris Hussey and striker Danny Rose out of Gigg Lane.
The right-back played 53 times for the Shakers and scored two goals, including the goal of the 2015/16 season winner in a 3-1 victory at Sheffield United.
Riley had attracted interest from Oxford United in January, but after turning down a move down south the full-back has penned a two-year deal at New Meadow.
