FORMER Manchester City striker Ishmael Miller has signed for Bury until the end of the season.

The 29-year-old forward was a free agent after having his contract terminated at Championship side Huddersfield in February.

He has not played since January 19, when Miller was a substitute late in the second half of the Terriers' 5-2 defeat at Reading in an FA Cup third-round replay.

After starting his career with City, the big front man secured a move to West Brom, initially on loan, in the 2007/8 season and spent four years in the Premier League at the Hawthorns before signing for Nottingham Forest.

During three campaigns at the City Ground Miller had loan spells at Middlesbrough and Yeovil before spending half a season at Blackpool.

He joined Huddersfield in February 2015, scoring four goals in 37 matches, and has more than 250 career appearances under his belt in the top two tiers of English football.
