THERE are double the reasons to celebrate for Rivington and Blackrod School as another of their pupils has been packing a punch in thai kick-boxing.

Charlotte Antoni has got off to a great start with her winning international title in Crewe against Dutch girl Cheveny Van Der Spek in early January.

Then in March she also won at the Sandee final up to 48kg title before heading down to Birmingham in May where she became the WKA British champion again.

The success just kept coming for the youngster as she won a another British Title against Kaci Danks from Northern Spirit gym in Sale.

Proud dad Ed Antoni said: "Charlotte has got the UKMF Knutsford competition this weekend where the winner will represent GB in Thailand 2016.

"She will be fighting Amy Ince on a big show with some of the UK finest at the Hilton Hotel in Leeds July 25 doors open 12pm.

"Charlotte's started Thai Boxing three years ago and has excelled in the sport she loves won 15 titles plus a world Title and just wants to keep winning more.

"We are so proud of her and all the fighters at Peel Thai and especially her trainer Geoff Downs, who has made her the fighter she has become."
