ENTRIES are invited for the annual Two Crosses Circuit Challenge organised by the Long Distance Walkers Association.
The event, which has a 17-mile and a 25-mile course through Bolton, Bury and other areas in the West Pennine countryside, takes place on Sunday, March 20.
There is a nine-hour deadline for participants to complete the course and an entry limit of 300.
Teenagers aged from 14 to 17 are allowed in the 17-mile event provided they are accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Landmarks on the course include Affetside Cross, Jumbles Reservoir, Entwistle, Bull Hill, Pilgrims Cross and Peel Tower.
The entry fee is £7 for Long Distance Walkers Association members, £9 for non-members.
