A TRIO of top students are the toast of their club after collecting 10 Muay Thai titles between them.

The boys, representing HKS Thai Boxing in Horwich, have been making great strides in the sport and their skills have led to the belt count at the Emmett Street club going sky-high.

Seven-year-old 'Dirty' Harry Ashburn is dominating the 23kg scene as he holds the WKA English Open title, WKA British title, Sandee Open title and British WTKA title.

Clubmate Yasin 'Young Turk' Calisaner has three belts in his possession, the WTKA English title and two north-west area inter-club titles in the 27kg division.

Completing the talented group known as the Three Amigos is 'Lethal' Layton Hilsley, holder of the WKA English and British Open titles, with the WTKA Intercontinental title for good measure.

As well as competing up and down the country they all train three-to-four times a week with Samantha Williamson and European champion Steve Reilly.

Steve said: "The three lads have achieved a lot in the world of Muay Thai and I'm sure they are set to continue winning."
