EGERTON Primary School teams have topped the town charts for cricket and netball this year.
The Year 5 and 6 netball team kicked off the championship hat-trick at St Joseph's RC High School.
The same age group then made it a double by winning the Bolton schools' cricket title at Bradshaw Cricket Club, quickly followed by the Year 5 mixed cricket team repeating the feat at Little Lever Cricket Club.
Egerton's three teams qualified to represent Bolton at the county finals.
There has been no shortage of coaching for the school's youngsters with the netball team receiving year-round training from a level two coach and the cricketers having coaching trained by an Egerton Cricket Club professional.
