TRI-RIVINGTON can look back on a highly successful season.
Every one of the club's members achieved personal successes this year in triathlons, duathlons, swimming, running and cycling events.
The highlight events of the year for the Rivington-based club included the Bolton, Wales and Majorca Ironman triathlons, the Majorca, Chester, Barcelona and Sundowner half ironman triathlons, the Manchester and Chester marathons, the Fire Fighters, Decathlon, Oulton Duathlons, Horwich, Chester, Salford and Southport triathlons, the Leeds World Championships triathlon, Coniston 10k Open Water Swim.
Four of the club's members have also qualified to represent Great Britain in national triathlons.
Club coach Ray McGloin said: “I feel so proud of all our members, not only their own personal achievements but because they are all great individuals who are always looking out for, and celebrating, each other’s success.”
