TWO Bolton footballers helped Lancashire Under-14s girls' teams reach a sixth consecutive National Cup final.
Mary Collier and goalkeeper Imogen Maguire, who play for Bolton club Academy Juniors u14s, played their parts in the Lancashire side that beat Worcestershire 3-0 Redditch United’s Valley Stadium in the semi-final of the Schools FA PlayStation Inter-County Trophy for Girls.
Collier opened the scoring while Maguire came on as a second-half substitute to make her competitive debut.
The Red Rose county will play the winners of the other semi-final between Inner London and Kent as they bid to win the title for the fifth successive year.
Collier struck after six minutes when her header from a free kick wrong-footed the keeper and just crossed the line.
