GREAT Lever and Farnworth ladies' team have made it through to the last 16 of the Manchester and District Golf Association's Bell Cup.
They beat Ellesmere in the last round and will host Shaw Hill for a place in the quarter-finals.
This year's finals day, for the last four teams, will be held on September 1 at Bury.
Another Bolton Golf Association team, Breightmet, went out in the last round when they lost at Walmersley.
The Bell Cup is the biggest regional ladies' team cup competition in the country and has been played for since 1911.
More than 80 clubs entered this year, with teams of seven going head-to-head in a singles match-play format.
Full draw for the last 16: Warrington v Sandiway, Wigan v Mellor and Townscliffe, Leigh v Accrington, Swinton Park v Prestbury, Haydock Park v Hindley Hall, Greenmount v Stand, Great Lever and Farnworth v Shaw Hill, Walmersley v Didsbury.
