RISING star Charlotte Antoni will fight on her biggest stage yet at the Macron Stadium next month.

The 16-year-old Thai boxer will be on an elite bill at the Yakkao super show.

Horwich fighter Antoni has been in stunning form this year, winning a string of top titles in her first year as a senior.

Her impressive performances have earned her a place alongside some of the best Thai boxers in the world at Bolton's big event on Sunday, October 15.

She is the first local girl to fight at the Yokkao show and one of only two female fighters who will be on show on the night when she will take on 18-year-old Jess Lyons from Oldham.

Antoni has made a sensational transition to senior competition after winning a string of major competitions – including a world title – as a junior.

Already this year the local girl, who is a Sandee Boxing Equipment Ambassador and sponsored by Taurus Cranes, has won a European title, the Sandee Open in Barnsley, beat a girl three years older than herself at an event in Wigan with a third-round technical knockout, and won the intercontinental 55kg title with a points victory over a Scottish fighter four years her senior at the Sandee Super Show in Barnsley.

She fights out of Majestic Gym in Wigan under the instruction of Kevin Harper. Fighting C Class she has worked her way up to the big stage ranked number one in the UK.

The Yokkao show takes place annually at the Macron, attracting the best Thai boxers from Thailand and around the world.
