BURNDEN’S Paul Barlow led home the club’s runners at the Serpent 6-Mile race, winning the V50 age group in a time of 44mins 51secs.
Katy Thompson and Lucille Corrigan took the first two places in the F45 category. Thompson was eighth female finisher in 47:54 and Corrigan was 10th overall with 48:02.
Phil Glassbrook was the club’s other age-group winner, finishing first V70 in 54:48. Debra Hennessey was third F50 in 1:00:34.

Isaline Pollitt travelled to Oxfordshire for the Abingdon Marathon and came home in under four hours with a time of 3:55:31.
Paul Duke beat his previous best at the Standish Hall trail race by three minutes with a time of 43:32, finishing 10th overall in a strong field and second M40.
Jeff Pendlebury took on the Green Drive 5 at Lytham, crossing the finish line in 43:46.
