SECOND SPOT: Shay Walker
BOLTON Harrier Shay Walker’s 1hr 21mins 37secs put him second in the 270 field (M45 first) in the Heaton Park Half Marathon.
However, keeping track of his position was complicated by 10k and 5k races taking place on the same congested route.
Elsewhere, the Winter Warmer 10k in Blackburn saw Ken Fowler 107th in 44:30 (M65 first).
