The Big Picture, the great weekly feature in The Bolton News every Tuesday which showcases a grassroots sport photograph from our archives, this week shows Bolton Harrier Ron Hill doing a lap of honour with local youngsters after breaking two world records on the Leverhulme Park track in Bolton in July, 1965. As reported in The Bolton News last week, Hill ran a mile every day for more than 52 years until he brought his incredible streak to an end three weeks ago at the age of 79 due to the threat it was having to his health.
