THE annual Bolton 10K race takes place on Sunday, April 22, starting at 10am, with a One Mile Fun Run at 9am aimed primarily at under-15s.
Hosted by Bolton United Harriers at their Leverhulme Park base, the undulating route follows two laps around and within the park, with a grandstand start and finish.
Runners interested in taking part should go to the event website at www.bolton10k.org for more information.
Entry is £13, with a tech T-shirt memento for finishers and chip-timing, or £11 for UK Athletics-affiliated club members.
There is no entry on the day for the 10K and with just over a week to go, runners are encouraged to enter now to secure their place.
