Arena to host televised cage fighting event

Mixed martial arts event promoter, Matthew Hand, has teamed up with Another Level and Celebrity Big Brother star Dane Bowers to present a spectacular night of live “cage” combat.
Bolton Arena has been booked for the Sky TV televised “Knuckleup Kings of the North” Championship event on Saturday, September 4.
Matt Hand has woven a fight card of epic proportions. Dane Bowers is bringing the showbiz razzmatazz and is inviting some of his celebrity friends.
The best fighters from the North of England have been selected and matched to fight each other for the title King of the North.
They will then go on to represent the region in an epic battle between the North of England and the South, in the ultimate fight for bragging rights.
Tickets can be bought via the event’s website knuckleup.co.uk. They can also be found at Bolton Arena, or the venue for the celebrity studded event after-party, Bolton’s J2 nightclub.
