With Ollie Grisenthwaite also notching another touchdown himself, the Bulldogs dominated the second half after trailing 8-6 at half time.
The first quarter started with a fine 32-yard pass from the Bulldogs quarterback Josh Holt to Sam Wood which put the Bulldogs on the Rams five yard line.
Cooke took the ball in for his first touchdown. The Rams came back with one of their own early in the second quarter. The conversion netted them another two points to take them into the lead.

After some changes by the Bulldogs, their gruelling ground game produced two 35-yard runs by Cooke and Grisenthwaite.
Halfback Jimmy Allen scored with a seven yard scamper and Holt added one of his own.
The Bulldogs next home game is against the Highland Wildcats from Inverness on June 1, but they have a tough away game against Lancashire rivals the Wolverines at Blackburn RUFC on May 18.
