WANDERERS are still waiting for scan results on Korean star Chung-Yong Lee after his unscheduled return from the Asia Cup through injury.

The 26-year-old had his scan on Sunday on what the South Korean FA believe to be a hairline fracture in his right leg.

Initial reports suggested the midfielder will miss just three weeks of action after suffering the fracture in his tibia in Korea’s opening group game against Oman.

But Wanderers are waiting for further assessments before determining the extent of Chung-Yong's lay-off, though it is understood they are hopeful it will not be a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
