FORMER Wanderers forward Chung-Yong Lee is targeting a Crystal Palace debut before the end of the season.

The 26-year-old, who left the Macron Stadium on deadline day in February, is yet to figure for his new club after fracturing his leg on Asia Cup duty for Korea at the beginning of the year.

But he is hoping to figure for the Eagles under-21s side this week in a bid to prove his fitness to first-team boss Alan Pardew.

Back in full training, Chung-Yong has not played any club football in 2015 but believes his injury is now behind him.

He told the South London Press: “Tuesday was my first day of full training with the first-team. It was tough but I enjoyed it.

“I’m not worried about my injury. I can’t feel any pain now.

"I just need to get my fitness levels up and make sure that it is right, that is all I’m concentrating on right now.

“Before I play for the first team I need to play an U21 game. That will be a help for me.

“I want to be in the team for the last four or five games.”
