WANDERERS could be in line for a sooner-than-expected windfall if Rob Holding makes his Arsenal debut against Liverpool tomorrow.

The 20-year-old has impressed since making the £2million move to the Emirates and injuries to Per Mertersacker, Gabriel and Laurent Koscielny could mean he is plunged straight into the deep end by Arsene Wenger this weekend.

That would trigger an instant bonus clause in the academy graduate’s contract and guarantee an extra payment to the Whites.

Wanderers are being tight-lipped about how much they would stand to collect but are known to have agreed a series of clauses in Holding’s deal, and a percentage of any sell-on for the England Under-21 international.
