ALEX Samizadeh will join Wanderers at Walsall tomorrow as reward for his four goal haul against QPR.

The highly-rated young striker scored a hatful in the Under-23s on Monday night and has impressed Phil Parkinson, who is keeping a close eye on his progress. But the Wanderers boss has calmed talk the Iran-born 17-year-old will be rushed into the first team.

“I feel he has got a lot to do, still, but you can’t really do much more than score four goals,” Parkinson told The Bolton News. “Running along the theme we’ve had since I came to the club, when you do well, you get brought into the fold. We’ll see how he copes with the company but he deserves to be involved.

“Scoring goals is a great trait to have. There are other things you can work on but the goals he scored the other night were excellent so I’m pleased with him.

“There is a lot of work still to be done with him, he’s still a young man, but we try and liaise with David Lee and Nicky Spooner about who has done well and take a look at them.”
