MARK Beevers has been nominated for the Sky Bet League One player of the month award.
The Wanderers defender, signed on a free transfer in the summer from Millwall, is up against Sheffield United’s Ethan Ebanks-Landell, Rochdale’s Steven Davies and Chesterfield’s Jay O’Shea for the November prize.
Beevers has missed just one league game for the Whites since arriving at the Macron and has quickly become a favourite among the fans.
Phil Parkinson has been overlooked for his third award of the season despite winning four of his six games in the month.
Charlton caretaker Kevin Nugent, Gillingham’s Justin Edinburgh, Scunthorpe’s Graham Alexander and ex-Wanderers assistant, now Southend boss, Phil Brown will compete for the prize.
