TEENAGER Ryan White netted a brace as Wanderers Under-18s returned to winning ways at Charlton Athletic on Saturday.

The young Whites won 3-1 in south London with a stunning 60-yard effort from Matt Fearnley putting him on the scoresheet alongside White in the U18 Professional Development League clash.

Nicky Spooner's side again began brightly but playing into the wind, they also had to defend well to keep the Addicks at bay.

And two minutes before the break, the visitors edged ahead when White got in behind the Charlton defence and finished with aplomb into the bottom corner.

After the break, Wanderers looked to build on their lead and when Fearnley spotted the home keeper off his line, he glorious sent a shot from his own half over the back-pedalling stopper and into the net.

Charlton reduced the arrears but White secured the points when he netted his second.
