WANDERERS have been hit by another winding-up petition from HMRC, The Bolton News understands.
The HMRC Courts and Tribunals office lists a petition from the Inland Revenue against Bolton Wanderers Football and Athletic Company Ltd, dated July 12.
Wanderers have confirmed they are aware of the petition and will be dealing with it in due course.
Two similar petitions were issued by HMRC back in May earlier this year but cleared up before the due court date.
Meanwhile, Shaun McHugh has left his position as the club’s head of finance after less than four months.
The former Crystal Palace director, who had also worked in Formula One and for the Amateur Boxing Association, was appointed on March 29.
In the past 12 months three different men have held the financial director or head of finance post at Wanderers.
