THIS was a cracking match that neither team deserved to lose.

Dougie Freedman made six changes and the signs did not look good when Leicester took an early lead.

But the Whites fought back and went at the home side.

Andre Moritz and Chung-Yong Lee were outstanding as we got ourselves back into the game and then twice went in front, although Wanderers were unlucky to concede one from a rebound off Mills.

I have not seen a better first half all season and we were unlucky not to be leading at the break.

If only the referee had blown for full time and not half time!

The second half was much quieter and things looked like they could go our way when Mark Davies gave the home side a scare whe he brought the best out of Schmeichel Jnr.

But Leicester gradually got on top and Leicester were not to be denied.

The match completed the first half of the season and summed up the half-term report rather well: full of promise but must do better, particularly in defence.

We can build from here but I fear it is too late for this season.

Dougie is only part way through his rebuilding of the club and must be given time to carry out his plan. I just hope the management and fans give him that time.
