Clayton Donaldson is out of contract at Brentford
WANDERERS have distanced themselves from speculation linking them with Brentford striker Clayton Donaldson.
The former York City and Crewe Alexandra front man scored 18 goals for Championship new boys Brentford last season but is out of contract and could leave for nothing this summer.
Reports yesterday claimed Wanderers and Birmingham City were considering a move – but The Bolton News understands that the 30-year-old is not a target for Dougie Freedman.
