WANDERERS have today signed Aston Villa's Scottish international full-back Alan Hutton on loan.
The 29-year-old former Rangers and Tottenham defender will go straight into Dougie Freedman's squad for tomorrow's Championship derby against Blackburn Rovers at the Reebok Stadium.
The deal is for an month initially.
Hutton has played six times for Scotland this campaign but is yet to make a club appearance after Villa boss Paul Lambert revealed he was unlikely to figure for the Villains again.
The Glaswegian spent the second half of last season on loan at Spanish side Mallorca after a similar loan spell with Nottingham Forest.
