WANDERERS have confirmed the signing of Liam Trotter on a three-year contract.

The midfielder, who spent three months on loan at the Reebok from Millwall at the end of the season, will join officially on July 1 at the end of his contract with the South London club.

Trotter made 16 appearances for the Whites and will become Dougie Freedman’s second signing of the summer, following the announcement of a one-year deal for Neil Danns.

The 25-year-old scored his first goal for Bolton at Sheffield Wednesday, which was recently voted the best in April by the club’s supporters.
