JOE Mason is raring to go and get started again tomorrow after admitting Wanderers let themselves down before the international break.

The on-loan Cardiff City striker has missed playing at the Macron and wants to reward home fans after three consecutive games on the road.

“We were all disappointed with the results that led into the international break and, if truth be told, we probably wanted another game straight away,” he told the club.

“We know how important it is that we get right back out there and start winning some games and moving up the league table.

“Personally, I enjoy playing at home in front of our fans and it would be nice to reward them with a positive performance and three points against Sheffield Wednesday tomorrow.

“It has been a long time since we last played at home, and if we are to progress up the league table and have a really positive season it is important our home form is good.”

Wanderers have not won at home in the league since April 12, when they beat Barnsley 1-0 thanks to a Jermaine Beckford strike.
