ADAM Bogdan has been ruled out for at least two months after sustaining a bizarre training ground injury.
The Hungary international fractured his finger on Friday during training and will now be out until mid-November at the earliest.
Dougie Freedman cursed the loss of his keeper, the latest in a string of mishaps that has sidelined the likes of Kevin McNaughton, David Wheater, Liam Trotter and Dean Moxey in recent weeks.
“These freak injuries are really killing us right now,” he told The Bolton News.
“Someone had a shot, it hit the post, rebounded at Adam and caught him on the finger, which has fractured it. What kind of luck is that?
“He won’t be with us now for the next eight weeks.
“Kevin McNaughton was ready to come back for us and then at the end of the week he got struck down ill.
“I’d love to pick from a stronger squad but we’ve got what we’ve got and I think the lads who came in did themselves proud on Saturday.”
