CHUNG-Yong Lee came off the bench to help Korea secure a 1-0 friendly win in Jordan today.

The in-form Wanderers forward was rested from the start by national coach Uli Stielike but came on for the final 24 minutes in Amman to replace matchwinner Gyo-Won Han.

After victory against Ray Wilkins' Jordan, Korea are next in action on Tuesday when they face Iran in Tehran.

Elsewhere, midfielder Medo Kamara played the full 90 minutes as Sierra Leone saw their Africa Cup of Nations qualifying hopes ended by Ivory Coast.

The hosts – playing in Abidjan due to the Ebola crisis in Sierra Leone – went down 5-1.

They travel to DR Congo in their final qualifier on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, The date for Wanderers development squad's U21 Premier League Cup Round of 32 clash with Wigan Athletic has been set for Friday, December 12.

The tie will take place at the County ground in Leyland and kick off at 7pm, with admission free for Wanderers season ticket holders.
