WANDERERS’ development squad were denied victory late on at Stockport County but kept up their impressive unbeaten pre-season record.

After falling behind to an early Sean O’Hanlon header, Jamie Thomas brought his side level from the penalty spot after Kaiyne Woolery had been hauled down in the area.

Rob Holding then put Iain Brunskill’s side ahead with a fine curling effort from just outside the box but County snatched a draw with two minutes remaining as Abs Baggie’s looping shot beat Harry Campbell.

Medo Kamara completed 90 minutes, partnered in midfield by Filip Twardzik who alongside Ross Fitzsimons and Woolery had been involved for the first team the previous night at Oldham.
