IVAN Klasnic snatched a priceless three points for Wanderers in their battle against the drop with an 86th minute winner.

The Croatia international came off the bench to slot home his ninth goal of the season and his first since December 10 to lift the Whites out of the bottom three.

It had been a controversial afternoon – with QPR denied a goal early on when replays showed that Clint Hill's header had clearly crossed the line. Adam Bogdan's effort to claw the ball back into play was an impressive one, but referee's assistant Robert Pollock later claimed he had not had a clear sight of the incident.

Wanderers took maximum advantage and Darren Pratley headed home his first Premier League goal of the season eight minutes before the break after a clever free kick routine.

It was perhaps a case of two wrongs making a right after the restart, as another linesman, Jake Colin, took centre stage.

Although Djibril Cisse looked clearly offside when Shaun Wright-Phillips chipped the ball through, the flag stayed down, enabling the Frenchman to slot the ball under Adam Bogdan.

The game ebbed and flowed after that – until Coyle went for broke late on by throwing on the extra striker in Klasnic.

And when Ryo Miyaichi played a clever ball in behind Hill – he was the man in the right place at the right time to score a memorable winner.
