DOUGIE Freedman is poised to bring another member of his Crystal Palace backroom team to Wanderers with goalkeeping coach Lee Turner set to join him at the Reebok.
Freedman’s successor at Selhurst Park, Ian Holloway, revealed to the South London Press that Turner was due to link up with Freedman and fellow ex-Eagles coaches Lennie Lawrence and Curtis Fleming.
Holloway, who is set to appoint his former Blackpool coach George Wood as a replacement, said: “I didn’t really want to change anything but Dougie has now taken Lennie and Curtis.
“He rang up and said he had offered Lee Turner something.
“We spoke to Lee and he felt he was right to go. He has been ultra professional.”
Wanderers remain tight-lipped on any addition to the coaching team but The Bolton News understands Turner may be one of two more arrivals to Freedman’s Palace staff.
