DOUGIE Freedman is considering giving youth its fling in the first team.
The Wanderers boss is preparing some of his young guns for action, and they could be given their chance as early as Saturday.
The Wanderers boss has been impressed with a few of his youngsters in training and says it might not be long before the fans get a chance to see them in action.
The likes of Tom Eaves, Joe Riley, Chris Lester and Zach Clough have all been brought further into the fold over the last few weeks, alongside Josh Vela, who is close to returning from a knee injury.
With changes likely for Saturday’s FA Cup tie against Sunderland, some could feature in the Reebok clash.
“I am looking to integrate them. That’s what I like to do,” Freedman said.
“The younger lads bring a freshness to the group and we’ve had a few of them come in and train with us for the last four or five weeks.
“They are getting ready for some game time.”
