WANDERERS have completed the £300,000 signing of Barnsley striker Craig Davies.

The Wales international signs a two-and-a-half year deal and will go straight into the squad to face Millwall on Saturday.

Davies has already scored nine goals for struggling Barnsley this season, including a sensational equaliser for the Tykes at the Reebok in November.

He becomes Dougie Freedman’s first permanent signing after the club exploited a buy-out clause in his contract at Oakwell to snap up the 26-year-old for a bargain fee.
